if we are using development board (50 dollars one), are all 8 bits of PortB are used by the keypad?

I think its only 7-4, 1 and then 0 if you use interrupts. According to the lab exercise doc for the keypad

yea that's what we are actually using, but looking at the textbook, it seems like all port b are used... Though I don't understand what port b 2-3 are for. And also, even if we are not using interrupts, I don't think that means we can use PortB[0] for other purpose(not sure).  I think he also mentioned something about for pic16, we got 30 pins from Portb-d, so I'm guessing that missing two pins might be port b 2-3.
