for those who's going to use pic18, it mentions that there's a LCD issue with pic18. Does anyone know exactly how to solve this problem (ie: how to connect pic18 with LCD and keypad using breadboard or something else)?

 You want the 40 pin, and it goes in the same slot the PIC16F877 was in initially.

btw is it hard to replace the pic? or did u ask a ta to help?

My pic16 was kinda jammed in there, so it took some time and effort, but follow the instructions in chapter 2 and it'll work out okay
